Life Care Center of Hendersonville, North Carolina, recently earned a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
The CMS ratings system is designed to assist the public in choosing care for their loved ones. It calculates the ratings based on results of health inspections, staffing and quality measures (including pain management, pressure ulcers, weight loss and falls).
“Our associates care deeply about our residents and providing them the best possible care and quality of life,” said Thomas Hager, executive director. “Achieving our five-star rating is the result of great teamwork and dedication to living out our motto, Whatever It Takes And Then Some!”
The center received the rating in early April 2016.
“Life Care Center of Hendersonville has created a culture focused on customer service and quality outcomes for all the residents it serves,” said Bill Coury, vice president of parent company Life Care Centers of America’s Blue Ridge Region. “The rating is a proud accomplishment and well deserved for the facility.”
